All Renters must be 21 years of age or older unless accompanied by a legal guardian.
All drivers must be 16 years of age with a valid drivers license to operate an off-road vehicle.
Driving under the influence will not be tolerated. This includes alcohol and any mind-altering drugs.
A full day rental is considered8am to 5pm. All vehicles are due back by 5 pm otherwise there is a late charge of $55 per hour. Half day rentals are not available on Sundays.
All machines go out with a full tank of gas and must be returned with a full tank of gas. If a machine is not full when returned, you will be charged 35$ for fuel used regardless of remaining amount.
Snowmobile rentals will be based on skill level. Ride North Recreation and its employee's will determine which skill level you are and match you to the appropriate snowmobile.
In order to rent an off-road vehicle, a security deposit is required in addition to our rental fee. The deposit is held until the rental is returned and checked for damage. The security deposit is $1,000 and must be available on your credit card or cash. If the vehicle is returned with damage the cost of the repairs will be deducted from your deposit. Parts will be billed at retail prices and labor will be billed at $69/hour with a minimum of 1 hour regardless of repair.
To reserve an off-road vehicle requires a 25% deposit. The deposit will go toward your rental. The deposit is fully refundable with a 48-hour cancellation notice. If you cancel within the 48 hours then you will forfeit your deposit. If you do not show for your rental you will be charged the entire amount of your rental. In the event of adverse weather or snow conditions your deposit will be refunded. Adverse weather includes no snow, rain or whiteout conditions.
Ride North Recreation and its employees reserve the right to alter cancel a reservation or rental due to inclement weather, foreseeable hazards, insufficient booking or circumstances beyond our control.
Ride North Recreation and its employees reserve the right to deny services and rentals to any persons we feel are unfit to rent or operate an off-road vehicle for any reason of our choosing.
On the day of the rental, renters will be required to purchase insurance to cover damage to the machine and supply a damage deposit in the amount of $1,000. In addition a damage waiver fee is available to limit your responsibilities to the amount chosen. $40 damage waiver for $1,000 or $20 damage waiver for $2,000. Please note that with the damage waiver purchase this limits your liability for damages done to the machine only up, to the amount chosen. The damage waiver does not cover damages done to other property, persons or yourself. You must have insurance to cover you.
Helmets and appropriate riding gear must be worn. Helmets are included with the rental, however you may choose to wear your own helmet. Either way helmets must be worn at all times. Jackets, bibs, and boots will be available for rent for an additional cost however gloves, scarfs, hats and balaclavas are not available for rent. You must provide your own or purchase them from us.
